Entrepreneurship and Giving Back to The Community
Natasha has devoted her life to serving others. She mentors teens and adults, and works to serve as a sponsor for their future endeavors. She is happiest when she gets the opportunity to speak to and tutor children and young adults—they inspire her to keep climbing and reaching back.
Looking at her early start in business, it's no wonder to many that she is extremely passionate about youth entrepreneurship. Natasha is the founding Consultant for Operation HOPE's youth entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship initiative, HOPE Business In A Box, where she helped to design, develop, and execute programming, curriculum, and training for volunteers and HOPE program managers. She also served as the Pilot Coordinator, directly serving the Atlanta market, and assisting in the pilot process for Operation HOPE’s Denver, Oakland, and Los Angeles markets. She actively and passionately served as a HOPE Corps volunteer with Operation HOPE from 2010 to 2017, and served as the Co-Chair of the Advisory Board for the HOPE Business In A Box Academies, and as Co-Chair of the Advisory Board for the Office of Small Business and Entrepreneurship from 2013 to 2017.
She also proposed the idea of a Virtual HOPE Inside which would allow individuals the opportunity to gain access to coaching and other resources that would normally only be provided to those who physically entered a HOPE office or center. Leadership within the organization followed through with the initial phases of Natasha's proposal, and now distance is no longer a barrier for many people who need assistance with credit and money management.
